Thank You for visiting The Pampered Pullets Farm on line. We hope that you have an enjoyable and informative visit. If this is your first visit, we welcome you. If you are a repeat visitor, we welcome you back.
We have to first appologize as we are in the middle of revamping this web site. There will be many changes to hopefully serve you better. We ask that you bare with us as we will try to get the changes done as quickly as possible.
The Pampered Pullets Farm is not a large, commercial, impersonal hatchery or supply warehouse. We are less, but oh so much more than that.
We humbly started out with just two small chicks, a Buff Orpington and an Ameraucana, in a home-built brooder on the kitchen table. But who were we trying to kid? This is our addiction. We now keep many different breeds of chickens, in both Standard and Bantam.
From those humble beginnings, we found ourselves growing by leaps and bounds in a semi-controlled way. But we have never wanted to be like those huge hatcheries or poultry supply houses. It is our mission to treat our guests and customers the same way we treat our chickens: with respect, personal service, knowledge and a whole lot of pampering.
In this time of a wavering economy and uncertainty, more and more people are turning back time to an age of the back yard flock. 2008 proved to be the highest rate of sales of day old chicks in history. For most people, this is their first time raising chickens, and if you are one of these people, we welcome you to the enjoyment that chickens can bring. If you are a seasoned flock master, we welcome you as well and look forward to being able to exchange information and tips with you.
It is our hope that you will find this site both helpful and entertaining and that you find yourself returning time and time again to share in our joy of raising chickens not only for their meat and eggs but more so as pets and part of your extended family. Chickens are our passion, we raised our children, and now we raise our chickens as our chickdren.
As you find yourself reviewing our website, realize that it is ever changing. We don't hire expensive web designers but instead maintain this site ourselves. Some days we can add lots of information and sometimes we might go days before adding any relevant happenings. We do try to update information as often as possible though.
For those of you who have larger farms and keep other types of animals besides chickens, we will be adding over 2000 new products to our online catalog that will deal with horses, cows, pigs, goats, dogs and cats. There won't be all the pretty pictures but we will try to add a few as time goes on.
We are working hard to bring you all the products that you need at prices that you can afford. We ask you to compare our prices against anyone else out there. We think that you will find that we are highly competitive and for the most part all around less expensive then even the big boys. Any time that we can offer you a lower price then we will certainly pass those savings on to you. We are all in the same boat in todays economy and we are doing our part to help people make their dollars go as far as possible. All our products are top quality, name brand items. Just because we have a lower price does not mean that you are going to get factory seconds or off brand junk.
Shipping today is getting rediculous and we understand that. We do everything possible to ship your products the most cost effective way. Our shipping fees charts are only a guideline. We encourage you to contact us by email with your want list and we can give you an exact shipping rate. We understand that it is cheaper to send something 100 miles than it is to ship 1000 miles so why should you be charged a higher rate then necessary. And we never charge extra for handling your product.
When we decided to start this business, we wanted to go about it in a whole different way. It is our mindset to run this business the old fashioned way. My wife and I were both born and raised in small country towns and grew up with small town attitudes. We enjoy the mom and pop stores much more than the big shopping malls. Our family has had small businesses all our lives and each business was run with that small town feeling. Great prices, wide selection, and customer service being the top priorities.
When you buy something on line it is hard to get a feeling for what a business is like. You don't know who you are dealing with. We are no different. But to help you and give you some idea of who you are dealing with, I encourage you to visit our Ebay site at thepamperedpulletsfarm. There you can review our feedback from past transactions. And as this website grows, we hope to also have a feedback section here as well.
We Thank You for taking the time to review our website and we hope that you find it to your liking. Please feel free to send us your thoughts and comments through our contact page.
We look forward to working with each and every one of you in the future.
